Flea Policy

When you arrive for your grooming appointment, sometimes it is difficult to tell if there are fleas present until we get your dog wet.  We will make an effort to contact you as soon as we notice fles. We will always do a flea bath (there will be a charge for this)

8

Matted Coat

Our objective is to ensure your pet's grooming experience is as stress-free as possible. When tangled and matted hair necessitates removal, shaving is the most humane method to prevent pain and injuries. While cosmetic appearance may be secondary, we prioritize your pets' comfort. We offer partial de-matting services when feasible and work to demat brush safely. Pre-existing conditions may become apparent upon removing matted coats. We will promptly inform you of any concerns. Matted coats can cause skin problems, inhibit air circulation, increase body heat, and create an environment for parasites and infections. We take precautions, but potential issues may arise, such as nicks and clipper irritations. If fleas are found, we will contact you ASAP and do a flea bath.
